Ward 9 Family Shinny Hockey Tournament 4 Players per team ( 2 under age 16 and 2 over age 16) WHERE: 30 Woodfield Drive Tanglewood Park Community Centre Community Ice Rink WHEN:Saturday, February 16, 2019 Time: 9am to 12 pm

We will have free chili and hot chocolate. Fill in registration form and read rules (copies will be available at the Tanglewood community center). Send your team’s registration form to: [email protected] or mail to: Niki Mintenko at 30 Woodfield Dr., Ottawa ON K2G 3Y5 Or leave it in the mailbox at the Community Center at 30 Woodfield Drive Hope to see you on the rink.

Young at Hearts Social Club For Seniors 55+

Tanglewood Community center, 30 Woodfield Drive, from 1:00-3:00 PM. See dates below. Book club 3:00 to 4:00

Activities are provided for a small donation fee of $2.00 this is purchase snacks.. No formal registration required, simply show up at the front entrance.
This is a great way to stay active within the community. meet with friends and make new ones with your friendly neighbors.
Fourth Monday of each month.

Volunteer Positions

Attendant of Public Skate Change Room – end of December to end of February

As a volunteer, you are a member of the Outdoor Activities team responsible to open and oversee the public skate change room of the Centre from 4:30 to 5:30 Monday to Friday stating in January and ending March 1 weather permitting. Depending on the number of volunteers interested this would be a two or three day a week commitment. You work primarily with our Rink Supervisor. You are at least 17 years old and prepared to obtain a Working with Vulnerable Persons Clearance from the Police. Community Volunteer Hour program applies. Additional hours could be obtained by helping to clear and flood the rink, and volunteering to help at our Winter Carnival.
