Holiday Party

Saturday Dec 10, 2020 from 9am to 1:30pm at our community center

All are welcome. Our craft fair will have lots of items for sale. For the children: we will have a visit from Santa, songs, crafts and cookie decorating for free. We will also have free Tim Horton's coffee and Hot Chocolate

Community garden

We are happy to announce that our Community Garden has received approval by Just Food and the City of Ottawa Public Health guidelines to be open. To become a registered garden member click on “More garden details” below.

Canopy Cover and Tree Inventory

Thanks in part to a Canada Summer Jobs Grant the neighbourhood was able to complete a tree inventory this past summer. This is the beginning of a process of tree planting in the neighbourhood. You will see the findings in the final report THCA Tree Report.

Featured programs & activities

Crafting Session {Adults}

Second Sunday of each month from 2 to 4pm

Enjoy a cup of tea, good conversation, and time for you to work on whatever special project you have on the go (knitting, embroidery, sewing, sketching, etc.). Please note, these are not lessons, but rather a chance to get to know fellow crafters in our community, to inspire each other, and to learn from each other.
Cost: FREE Bring your own supplies.

Yin Yoga {Adults }

Thursdays Sept 15th - Nov 17th(not Sept 29th & Oct 20th) Time: 7:30 to 8:30pm

The focus will be on Balance, Flexibility and meditation to release any stress or anxiety one may experience.
Please bring a mat and your water bottle
Cost:  $90 for 8 weeks  ($4 discount for THCA members)
No Drop-ins (Participants must register for all 8 weeks)

Children’s Sports and recreational program

For 7 to 11 year olds on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7pm

The children will have fun playing sports, games, and doing arts and crafts! The program will consist of Skill Building activities and group games. Spaces are limited.
Day: Wednesdays   Time: 5:30 to 7:00 pm
