Adults can shop for that special gift, while children share their wish lists & take photos with Santa, create crafts and decorate cookies. Canopy Cover and Tree Inventory

Thanks in part to a Canada Summer Jobs Grant the neighbourhood was able to complete a tree inventory this past summer. This is the beginning of a process of tree planting in the neighbourhood. You will see the findings in the final report THCA Tree Report.

Euchre Nights

3rd Friday of the month

Join us for Card Fun!
Get ready for a fun-filled evening of cards with friends at
our Euchre Night.
Date: Starting July 21st
Time: Doors open at 6:30pm, Games start at 7pm
Cost: $8 cash at the door. Don't forget quarters for
euchres!
Register: Not required, just come and join

Skating Lessons: “Learn to skate” or “I Love to Skate”

January & February (Weather dependent) for 6 lessons of learning to Skate Days & times not confirmed

Learn the basics of skating on our outdoor rink. Some lessons will be canceled due to bad weather at the discretion of the instructor and dependent on the weather conditions. Participants will be required to wear Skates and Helmets. Parents need to stay on the ice during the lessons.
"Learn to Skate" : Saturdays Jan 6 to Feb 17 Time: 1:15 to 2pm or 2:15 to 3pm $60 for 6 lessons
"I Love to Skate" : 2 evenings for 3 weeks. Days & times not confirmed. This FREE program is for low income families that cannot pay for lessons. Students will be provided with a voucher to purchase their own skates and helmets (at Canadian Tire).

Free Tai chi classes

Tuesdays Winter session Dec 5th to May 28th from 2 to 3pm

Winter session will be inside the Tanglewood Community centre. Dress comfortably, loose clothing preferred. Please bring indoor shoes to keep the exercise class room clean and dry. The entire set will be taught over the program duration, with each move demonstrated and practiced repeatedly.
