Household Harzardous Waste

The City of Ottawa is hosting a one-day mobile household
hazardous waste collection depots from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two
upcoming depots will be held:
Sat, May 12 at the Rideau Carleton Raceway, 4837 Albion Road
Sun, May 27 at Waste Management, 254 Westbrook Road, off
Carp Road, south of Highway
Residents are reminded that this depot is for household waste only
(maximum 100 litres). For a complete listing of acceptable household hazardous waste, visit the City’s website at www.ottawa.ca/hhw. To keep our waste collection operators and our environment safe, do your part by safely disposing of hazardous household waste such as used needles,pesticides and pool chemicals. Residents of Tangewood-Hillsdale are reminded that paints and stains, household batteries and CFL bulbs can be returned to various Ottawa hardware
retailers at any time. Visit www.makethedrop.ca for a location near
