Constable Tim Murray, Barrhaven Community Police Officer, has send an email to Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators for this section of the City stating that the Ottawa Police Service would like to remind the public to be extra vigilant and secure their residence at all times. With the summer months now upon us, the Ottawa Police Service has experienced an increase in reported residential break and enters where insecure and/or open windows and doors were targeted. The Ottawa Police Service is asking residents to be mindful of any insecure entrances to their home including garage doors, as well as front and rear windows.
