ServiceOttawa Gateway launched: THCA – registration and rentals move in similar direction
Accessing City services and information got a online upgrade, removing the need to call or visit a client service centre. The ‘gateway’ allows residents to complete requests for over 250 different types of service including booking and paying for last-minute ice time, reporting graffiti and obtaining PIN and barcodes for recreation program registrations, available through the ServiceOttawa gateway: www.ottawa.ca. The enhanced website also offers virtual tours of rental
spaces in City facilities, allows residents to check the status of their service request and makes viewing www.ottawa.ca
from a mobile device easier with streamlined navigation. Booking our community centre, while not part of this service is moving in the direction with streamlined service. At the upcoming meeting of the Committee of Managment, virtual tours of our Centre is expected to be approved. We continue to seek a means for offer on-line payment.
