Clean-up the Capital 2015 Event – Thanks to Redeemer Christian High School Students

Sixteen students (plus one family member) and four teachers from Redeemer Christian High School located on Colonnade Road, in two shifts, spent May 6th cleaning up our community. As part of their service day, the students cleaned-up the tennis and ball hockey courts, around the Community Building, the border between Tanglewood Park and The Brick/Rona and the pathway behind Benlea. More than 30 bags of litter and 30 bags of yard waste were collected. There were some interesting finds such as a fire extinguisher, a frying pan and a large bag of dog feces. Thanks to Tim Horton’s for providing the nourishments.
