Increase in break and enters
There appears to be an increase in break and enters in the following areas.
Bound by Lotta Avenue, Baseline Road, Merivale Road and Meadowlands Drive) continues to experience weekday residential day-time break-ins. The suspect(s) are targeting jewelry, cash, designer handbags. Entry is being made through basement windows, rear patio doors and in some cases second floor windows. Losses greater than $50,000 dollars have been reported in some cases.
Residents are invited to lock lower basement windows and to report suspicious activity.
