Message from Keith Egli

Good morning everyone,

I would like to provide you with an update for Ward 9.

Samaritan’s Purse is offering free help for tree or debris removal and roof tarping. You can call 1-844-547-2663 or stop by the Arlington Woods church this morning for details.

The Province has officially announced the Disaster Recovery Assistance for areas in our Ward. You can find out more information at http://www.mah.gov.on.ca/Page19878.aspx

The Salvation Army will be serving lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Manordale Community Building located at 68 Knoxdale Road.

Residents can visit http://www.ottawapublichealth.ca for food safety information during an outage.

Hydro Ottawa has approximately 1000 customers without power and are still working on restoring power to all the Ward. I will keep you updated as information becomes available.

The Insurance Bureau of Canada will be set up in the Nepean Sportsplex today to assist residents with getting their insurance claims started.

Starting on September 24, 2018 until further notice routes 82 and 282 are detoured and will not service Bellman, Banner and McClellan due to Hydro work. Bus stops on these roads will not be in use. Please catch routes 82 and 282 on Greenbank Rd.

Thank you,

Councillor Keith Egli

Elected Representative to Ward 9 Knoxdale-Merivale
