Discharge of A Firearm
On October 12, at 4:30 am in the North East sector of the neighbourhood, there was a discharge of a firearm (3 times). Apparently a young man got out of a car , did so, and drove off. There was no property damage or personal harm.
The police were notified at the time, and will increase their presence in the neighbourhood over this week.
Next Monday (Oct 21, 6:30 pm) at the Community Centre – 30 Woodfield Drive , there’s a town-hall meeting to discuss Community Safety and Crime Prevention. Constable John Drader, and Councillor Sean Devine will be the speakers to address concerns.
