Cathodic Protection for Neighbourhood
Annually, the City undertakes its Cathodic Protection Program. It helps a) protect its watermain infrastructure from failing prematurely, and b) lengthen the usual lifespan of this same piping. As part of this program, from May to September 2025, contractors will be installing anode banks along the city’s right-of-way on streets in Ward 9, including all be a few streets in Tanglewood-Hillsdale.
A leaflet notification will have been delivered to residents who are affected by this program. The URL link below provides similar information to that affected households received.
