Clean-up Tanglewood Park
Forty-seven students and their teachers from Redeemer Christian High School [Colonnade Dr.] spent an hour and half cleaning up the Centre, courts, gardens, play structures and ball diamond of the Park. The City provided garbage bags and gloves, Tim Hortons donated Tim-bites and THCA contributed Leaf bags and water.
Annet, George, Graeme, Niki and Pauline helped to ensure the students had an enjoyable but productive visit. Most youthgained first-hand experience that most disposables products in our everyday environment are slow to biodegrade if at all.
