Tanglewood Park Community Centre:   Rooms within the centre are available for rentals whenever there is no community program or event already scheduled.  The facility is functional and affordable, in a park-like setting on a quiet street.  We offer a great location for a festive celebration, birthday, shower, retirement party, dinner, social gathering, meeting, workshop or other activities.  Rental includes Wi-Fi Internet, tables and chairs (adult and children).  Additional rental fee applies for projector and sound system.  Rent individual rooms or the entire facility for one occasion, weekly or monthly.  Air conditioned and fully accessible.

Hillsdale Hall / LIONs Den / Lounge / Multipurpose (Skate Room) / Kitchen / Rink 

Please note the Renter is responsible for setting up all tables, chairs and equipment. All tables and chairs must be wiped clean before being put away.  No janitorial services are provided.  All areas used by the Renter including the entry, bathrooms and kitchen are to be swept and mopped.  Renters must pay for all the time they are using the building, including set-up, tear-down and clean-up.

Rental fees are paid by cheque, cash, interac e-transfer auto deposit to [email protected] (we do not have on-site debit or credit processing facilities).  Separate cheques are required for “Damage Deposit” and “Insurance” where applicable.

Tanglewood Park features a playground with swings and play structure, a community garden with picnic table, bike rack, public tennis courts, basketball court, ball-hockey court, and a city-operated baseball diamond.

The rental of the park area around the building is administered by the City of Ottawa. Contact the City Wide Allocations for information on rental of the park at 613 580-2595 or by e-mail at [email protected].

Rentals of the building are managed on a volunteer basis by the community association (THCA) on behalf of the City. Please note:  To view the space you must schedule an appointment by contacting [email protected].

PARKING:  there are 19 on-site parking spaces to the east of the building, street parking as well as additional parking behind Canadian Tire/The Brick.
