ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS &PREVENTION SEMINAR

Elder abuse is a growing concern among Ottawa’s older adult community, and the situation has only worsened in recent years due to a loss of provincial funding for resources to address this crisis. Elder abuse can take many forms – physical, psychological, financial, neglect – and the sources and causes of elder abuse are wide and varied. Councillor Devine’s office is pleased to be hosting an online Elder Abuse Awareness & Prevention Seminar on Monday, March 24th, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
