City Run Programs

There are 2 city run programs but to register for them you need to contact
[email protected] Spots are limited. These are free for families that cannot afford to pay for regular city run programs. If you can afford to pay then register for the Learn to skate under TPCC run programs.

I Love to Play Hockey Program

This program teaches participant the fundamental skills and rules of playing hockey. It’s meant for a small group instruction for (8yrs – 18yrs)
WHERE:  TCR – Tanglewood Community Rink
WHEN:             Every Wednesday 5:15PM – 6:15PM & Friday 5:45PM to 6:45PM
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:   Skates, stick and helmet for child (Coupons are available to redeem this equipment at Canadian Tire)
COST:                FREE
DATES:              January 17th, 2020 to Feb 28, 2020

City of Ottawa Run Programs held at the Tanglewood Park Community Building—
30 Woodfield Dr.

To register:

In Person: Visit any City of Ottawa recreation facility during normal working hours to register for your course (Nepean Sportsplex, Ben Franklin place in Centrepointe)

Online: Direct your browser to Ottawa.ca/recreationguide and click on the Register! button to view programs ( http://join.ottawa.ca/fac/205/fall/all/ ) and sign up.

IMPORTANT: Register ASAP as they may cancel the course if there are not enough people registered. Barcode required for course which can be found in insert or City of Ottawa Recreation Guide. Method of payment is Visa/or Mastercard only

If subsidy is needed for these programs Check out Financial Support – Ottawa Hand in Hand   http://ottawa.ca/en/residents/older-adults/financial-assistance Each qualifying individual, or member of a family, is eligible for an annual amount of fee support ($170 per person).


No City run programs are scheduled for Tanglewood at this time.
